안녕하세요. 김홍조 약사입니다.독시사이클린 성분의 항생제는 에티닐에스트라디올 등의 호르몬 성분을 함유한 피임약의 효과를 미미하게 감소시킵니다.따라서 약물 치료중에는 이중피임을 해주는 것이 더 안전합니다.The natural bacterial flora of the small intestine metabolizes estrogen and progestin formulations to the active free drug.2 Since tetracycline antibiotics can alter or even eradicate certain gastrointestinal tract bacteria, the enterohepatic circulation of estrogen and progestin formulations can be decreased, ultimately resulting in lower circulating serum levels of the formulations.
